With our Program, you can avoid the slow-termination of your log home and/or the hefty price for a full reconstruction and restoration job. We want you to keep your beautiful home without the crazy hassle.

How To Check If My Log Home Needs Maintenance

Step 1:  Are your logs dirty?  Log homes need to be pressure washed 2 times a year to  prevent dirt from depleting stain.  

Step 2:  Have you had staining done in the last 3-5 years? If so, does stain look dried out, especially where exposed to the sun? Some logs clearly have a sheen, whereas other logs are dry, cracked, and/or flaking.

Step 3:  Are checks, cracks, or splits on the upper side of the logs? Oftentimes, rainwater can sit inside and rot your logs. This also allows for insects to infest. 

Step 4:  Are there signs of Wood-Boring insects? That may include: small holes, droppings, and piles of sawdust.
